Yeah. I've got all the basics on the lake, but I'm looking for more the flavour on what it is like to actually stand there and cast a line: what gear works best, are there any hatches that fly fishers should try and catch, is there space on the shoreline for casting, or is a float tube needed? Is there any place on the lake that fishes better than others?

But, since you're here, and have been there, what's the drive like from Squamish. Time investment? I suspect that it's still pretty easy to get to the spur road leading up to the lake (unless something has changed since last I checked). But the road to the lake is all but gone? There's a second road to the lake from the Hixon Creek Road, but it's gated, according to our maps.
