Default Best maps to use?

I'd like to ask the community a question about what maps are the best for hikers to use. I've been trying to find information about a lake near Spuzzum FSR, but all the topo maps I can find online don't even label half the features. Yet I read posts here that give names to lakes and peaks that don't appear on any map I can find. So what are you using?

I use Gaia GPS ios app, you can also access their online maps for free I think if you sign up. You have access to pretty much every single topography map you want, and with the app you get the gps capabilities and offline maps right on your phone. If they aren't on these maps, the only other physical maps would probably be BC backroad maps from Canadian Tire.
