Question Garmin 64ST

I am looking at purchasing a Garmin 64ST that is pre-loaded with Canada topographic maps.

Anyone using this GPS that can provide some feedback ?

Thanks !!

Expensive, but it is currently the best device on the market for tracking hiking and other outdoor activities.

Comments:
1. Canada topo maps are good, but you can also get a number of free maps (e.g. I like Northwest Topos, but its coverage doesn't go very far past Pemberton).
2. Plexi screen can get pretty scratched up over time, so don't be too cavalier with it.

Ive got the GPSMAP 64s and Im very happy with it. But I do not like the original maps of Garmin, especially in Canada (in comparison the free maps are much better). Even on 1:25.000 maps trails are missing.

Our Scout unit has several older models of the 64, they work great, but I prefer my Oregon. I invested in the Backroads BC/Alberta map set several years ago and get the periodic updates as they come out.
