Question GPS Android app help

Hi all, trying to decide between the Trimble Outdoors Navigation Pro app or the Backpacker GPS Trails Pro for Android. They are both made by Trimble and it seems like they are very similar. I was wondering if anyone out there had any experience or advice on which one to select.

I will be using it primarily for day hikes in BC, WA, CA, NM, AZ and UT.

I am open to suggestions on different apps as well.

Thanks in advance.

Couple other ones I have and like are Backcountry and Gps way point navigator. I've also got Alltrails which looks similar to Backpacker. I think they all have free versions to try.

Although i haven't use that app I have had great success with the back country navigator pro app for my S5 for use in both Canada and the US. It costs 13$ but I found it is well worth it.

Thanks bore and hhinkkala, I appreciate the input. I see that Backcountry Navigator is well liked, but I was hoping to spend a a little less on an app at the moment.

Anyone else have any experience with the above mentioned apps?
