Default Free Alta GPS map?

Is there an Alberta equivalent to the Ibycus Topo? I'm on the lookout for a free GPS map - specifically one that is good quality for Banff townsite. (I'm in Banff for a work thing next weekend, and I see one of the "team building" [ugh] activities is some sort of GPS-based scavenger hunt... and I want to bring my own GPS, instead of the crappy looking one they seem to provide :P

This is not the help you were looking for but that'd be cheating . The whole idea with these things, which I've taken part in before, is having a bunch of potentially non-techy people figure it out. Or there'll be you with the non-techs and you'll have to show you can lead them even with the gps you're not familiar with. I can pretty much guarantee you will have the upper hand no matter what kind of hokey gps they give you.

Ibycus isn't BC-specific. It covers all of Canada. It's whaty I use for the Rocky Mountains.
So yes, we have an Alberta equivalent. Ibycus.
What we don't have is an equivalent to the online BC Basemap.

That said, I'm not sure what Ibycus has with regard to buildings and such in Banff townsite, as I've never tried to use it to navigate in town. But you can have a look and see what it includes.

Ibycus Topo covers - but the city maps in it aren't up-to-date.

So it does... thanks! (Must have only loaded the BC-specific maps since I never hike in Alta... city map probably isn't the most detailed, but it'll do!)

I had no idea this existed, it could come in handy. I'm going to add it to my list of reference resources. Thanks for posting the link!
