Default Toporama - Digital Canadian Topo Maps Free

Check out this site! http://toporama.cits.rncan.gc.ca/

Natural Resources Canada has topo maps that cover all of Canada. They don't have finite detail, but they do give you a pretty good overview.

I'm including some direct links to some GIF files I downloaded that cover the Vancouver and surrounding area:

Lower Mainland

Chwk to Keremeos (including Manning)

If you use IE6, it does auto-resizes. Save the graphic to disk and look at it with a graphical program at full scale.

This is the BC area I pulled from. Each of the square areas represents one topo map.

Have you had a chance to check out the links to the detailed maps? Those are pretty sweet.
