Default Do you know this lake in Kananaskis?

A couple of my friends shared this guy's photos on Facebook. This picture is part of his Kananaskis gallery. I can't figure out what lake this is. It's quite a pretty location.

Anyone know?

I've never been there, so I can't be sure, but it looks an awful lot like Carnavon Lake (at least from what I've seen in photos).

Not quite the same perspective but I would concur, Carnarvon Lake.

Nice pics! I really like that initial one of the grass. I'll have to visit the area when the road opens

It is Carnarvon Lake. Spectacular place! Don`t go there late in the season (like I did) when it`s icy and snowy. The headwall is very tough in wintery conditions. The metal chain was covered in verglass when I was there. Click on the link below to see the photos. The scenery was simply mindblowing!

FYI, Mt. Maclaren is an easy scree slog from Carnarvon Lake. It`s not in Nugara book.

Thanks Marko.

Great pics MtnNinja - except that it is a reminder of what is just around the corner (for better or worse)
