I know of a tree located somewhere (undisclosed for now) in the Lower Mainland that is COVERED in shoes. Hundreds of them.

"The Shoe Tree"
any pictures of the shoe tree anyone? I really loved the idea of the tree covered in shoes. if only shoes could talk, like in that british cartoon 'the shoe people' which I always watched as a kid (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqPsDHpLj1c).

btw, not too far from where I live, there is a single pair of shoes hanging from a wire. I have actualy seen the same phenomenon (if I can call it phenomenon; it is unusal occurrence after all ) several places here in Vancouver. does anybody know the meaning of that phenomenon?
