Default West Coast Trail Parking please help !!

Hello,
I am part of a group of 4 doing the west coast trail starting at Pachena on the 31 Aug. We are parking at Gordon River and getting the bus to trailhead 8.45/12.30pm bus to Pachena on 31st. We arrive into Gordon River around 6pm on the 30th.. is there anywhere I can securely park my vehicle for the week?? I heard of a guy called Evan but I'm worried I will get the too late on the 30th and he won't be open before our bus in the 31st. Any help or advice much appreciated?
Thanks
Rob

The bus I took left the trailhead at 9:15, and Evan was on site when I arrived at 8:30 (he said he usually comes in the morning and leaves after the bus leaves) I didn't look too closely, but it looks like he has envelopes to pay with, and the window to his camper in the back of the lot is cracked a little to slide the envelopes in. Ignore the house on the lot, it's uninhabited (chimney fire). Evan's lot is right at the trail office, you couldn't find a more convenient place and I didn't see any broken car windows.

We went with Evan 2 years ago, and had no issues with our vehicle

Great thanks I will drop the weeks money through the window if he isn't around. Was it this year you did the trek Lythe?
Cheers
Rob

I've heard that they are building a new visitor center for the trail at the Pacheedaht campground in Port Renfrew. I assume the ferry will move here when it eventually opens. It shouldn't affect folks travelling this summer, but not sure what that will mean for parking when they do move

If Evan isn't there you can just put your money and info in an envelope (he has them sitting there at his trailer). We parked 2 vehicles there for a week and they were fine. $30 for the week.
