Kiboko,
If you have a canoe, you can access the boat-in-only sites across Buttle lake from the road side. There are tent pads, out house and fire rings (bring your own wood) and no people (last weekend there was only one group camping at Philips Ck). There are 5 pad sites at Philips Creek, Marblerock Creek and 10 pad sites at Wolf River. Access is an easy 20- 30 miniute paddle, depending on wind & weather, so you could do a few shuttles to get your crew & gear over.
For example, to access the Philips Creek site, launch at the Augerpoint day use area and it's a 20 miniute paddle across the lake. You can leave vehicles overnight at the Augerpoint site at no cost. Philips Creek is also the start of the trail up to Marble Meadows and further to the Golden Hinde. You could day hike up to Marble Meadows in about 4 hours (old guy-full pack time) to the crest (1280 M elevation gain) where there are karst areas, meadows, many tarns and great views. There is also reportedly good trout fishing at the various creek mouths on Buttle Lk.
Ralph River drive in?... Barff!.. unless you like people, noise, smoke and city like living.
