Hi,

I would like to do a day hike up Alexandra Peak on Sunday the 18th. For the life of me I cannot get anyone from Timberwest to answer their phone.

Does anyone know about the access road, oyster river main, to this area. Just wondering if the gate is only open at certain times or if it is open at all.

This comes a little to late,written on a Friday afternoon.....The land is under Island Timberlands, sorry not Timberwest. Usually there is a guard at the entrance 7 days a week. They usually allow people in, after they fill out the form. (name, lic.plate # ) I do believe from this heat now, that the area is closed due to a high fire rating. I have done hikes into there in late June, and it dries up fast. The gate opens at 6 am and closes at 5 pm, maybe at 6 pm.... Good Luck.
