Cool griz pics. Thanks for resurrecting this thread. It's always been one of my favorites.

Here's a painted turtle I moved off the road near my house (the original photo was upright- the loader flipped it for some reason):

Was really lucky to see this massive Osprey at the Seymour river in North Van. Happened to be at the right place at the right time; it must have been dive bombing for fish from at least 60ft up the canyon. Never ever seen any other raptor hunt this aggressively. Hopefully he or she will be back after the winter, would love to capture some more shots of it fishing.

It’s nice to see the grizzly population doing well. I saw these guys near Cadomin a week ago.

Not real wild... but sooo cute. Barn swallows living above our back door. Haven't the heart to take down their nest. Been watching them grow over the last few weeks. Only one parent now working overtime feeding 5 hungry mouths. SARA status is threatened.
