Up at Needle ridge today, took one of those flying things and camera with me.
Had a major upload failure and no pilot assist or any reliable data feed back, so kept it real close to me. No risky summit shots,
but hey, real pilots fly manual mode anyways, right?

Does chartering a helicopter count?

Did this back in 2007 in Lillooet, captured with my old Pentax K10D and the wonderful 31mm f1.8 LTD.

The pilot took my door off which afforded me some amazing opportunities, much to the dismay of my wife who was sitting next to me...

Lots of good flights and images this season, I haven't made any effort (and likely wont) to post them. Whats on my channel, if any, is just some
regular recreational bits.

Some individuals/skiers/climbers have been looking for beta/info on some approaches in the last few seasons, gulleys, glaciers, cornices, snow deposits, rock and summits during winter/spring. I will be out a lot, doing close up flybys in some areas. Feel free to message me and request any terrain info. I may have the route or images you want. Some of my video/image aircraft can easily reach out many km, making for unusual footage.

All flying is considered with full scale nearby, people below, noise, wildlife impact, etc.

Falls Lake- Yak
This machine has a height limiter from take off point, not exactly ideal for close mountain flying...
Other aircraft ready, modified for better results

Awesome vids, Boris.
I am a huge fan of this kind of thing and hope to own one someday. Already have the standard GoPro and it has been a hoot for making riding videos and underwater filming.
Probably going to start small...the "toy" models with the crappy resolution at first...then graduate.
Assuming the other toys don't gobble up the disposable income.....

I don't have an issue with UAV's (unless they're being used to snoop in people's windows) and I don't consider them as a source of "noise pollution"...but as a Dual Sport rider, I apparently have no regard for anyone else's feelings anyways...the lesson learned is that you can't please everyone, so take Ricky Nelson's advice...and enjoy your hobbies.
