Looking back at possibly best trip from last year up Sigurd Peak:


This one is from ridge descending west from the peak towards Sigurd Lake (center right); rarely seen snow/ice free in fact. Route drops down towards snowfield, then ascends sub-peak (left) which is reportedly class 3 scramble before curling down. Knoll above the lake is where future trail from Pokosha Creek will emerge, thus allowing very enjoyable horseshoe loop.

It was neat to see. The white is a dusting of snow.. rock slabs beside the falls were covered by atleast a few inches.

Up early to watch the hockey game and then went for a walk behind my place.
Here's 3 for ya.

Had fun dodging the tree bombs.Snowing like crazy here in Port Moody.
