Over the last few nights we've heard this fella in the forest behind our house (near Gibson's, BC). In the morning he was perched on our deck, then hopped across the back yard where my neighbor, Steve, grabbed his camera and took this great shot

From our road trip to NWT/Yukon/Alaska this past August - brilliant sunset on Yarger Lake in the Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge south of Tok, Alaska.

Stave River backwaters , near Ruskin dam.
Lots of dead salmon and seagulls but no eagles.
