Here's my contribution. The November rainy season has been the shortest on record. Now everything's frozen. This is taken above Wedgemount Lake November 8, 2003.

Peeking through my photos to see what I can submit - still looking.

In the meantime, here are a few that Jimbo took while we were at Sumas Mtn (not for submission):

And a classic "soaked" photo of Jimbo and I when we finished the WCT during a gale force storm (not for submission)

Hummm everyone seems to be hooked on rushing water.

Okay so here is my submission for this month. Its still my favourite and I think it says it best about Vancouver's rainy days. Mist covered mountains, lakes , clouds, green trees.... etc

How could I suggest a topic like the Wet Coast without submitting a picture of the Wet Coast?

The start of a cold, wet, and miserable day on the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail.

I haven't been there would love to see more of the coast.
Very nice picture that one would look great blown up bigger.
Hi trigger,
The Olympic National Park is in the US. It was my first trip, a few years ago. We took the ferry to Port Townsend, drove to Port Angeles. From there we travel the coast. We were in search of puffins and maybe a whale or a seal citing from Cape Flattery. I promised myself to go back with a bigger zoom len and solid tri-pod for my camera. That was my favorite picture out of the rolls of film, I took. I have not been to Cape Scott, but from what I have seen looks just as breathtaking.

Hey Dean, is that the top end of Long Beach or am I confusing it with something else?

Here's one from the Diez Vistas Trail. Fog is made up of water vapor so it qualifes as wet. (That and it was raining at the time too.)

Even a journey of a 1000 miles, begins with one step. (Mind you so does tripping and falling flat on your face.
