Here is my favourite from 2009. Great view from the summit of Outram, wonderful hike, fought through a painful injury most of the way up, fabulous weather, and camping overnight just a few meters below the summit. Our one and only sight of a bear this year as well. : )

This is not one of the best pictures I have ever taken, from a technical perspective; however, it reminds me about all the reasons I need to be in nature.

It was so calm and not a ripple.

Anemone, is that on Burke? I seem to recognize that fellow. He's very friendly.
Actually, it's below Burke, at Coast Meridian and Highland (unless you consider that lower Burke). Yes, he was friendly, eerily so. The first time I saw him he was following me and a woman asked me if he were my dog. I think someone's been feeding him. Or he's a coydog. Or both.

Once again, not the greatest picture, but it sums up exactly why I hike.

I am kind of partial to this one although the CT default image size may not be big enough to see why

^First's better.

Dru's photo is incredible. I assume that's from a helicopter? Are those windformations or a whole sea of crevasses the two are trekking through? Are they people?
