Hi Vern,

Awesome book. Regarding the dark pics. Don't know if you ever calibrated your monitor. Have a look at http://www.jasc.com/support/kb/articles/monitor.asp and see if you want have changed anything to "pass" that test. You might find that your monitor it set a bit to dark

Very, very nice Vern. I was travelling overseas when I saw this posting but I couldn't open your book for some reason over there and now that I'm back home I got a chance to check it out. Beautiful

Thanks Bas, Yes my monitor is regularly calibrated but that's a good thing to remember. Without a calibrated monitor and printer (i.e. print profiles) it's a bit of a crap shoot how your prints will turn out! That's why I love vistek in Calgary. They offer printer profiles for their printers which you can use with Adobe Photoshop to make sure you get the output you expect.
