Default An eye on slesse March 05

I've been waiting for an appropriate opportunity to get some nice shots of Mt. Slesse from the Ryder Lake area. Today was the day:

Snow on the forested slopes of Elk Mtn

Mr. Moon:

Mt. Slesse from a favorite roadside vantage point:

Aceshigh happened to be up there as well getting a few shots too.

Those are great shots of Slesse & Area, that moon shot looks amazing I can see the huge craters quite easily.

That was funny and coincidental, I went up to an exact spot up in the mountains to take a slesse shot, and sure enough BG beat me to it lol. I almost got out of the truck and looked to see and there was a Hilux parked there. I yelled Hey "Billygoat" to him, the Hilux was a giveaway. Thank goodness it was Billygoat or that would of been embarassing lol.

It's a small Clubtread World afterall!!!

Good contrast between bare foreground and snowy distant peak. Well done!

Classic beautiful shots.

An incredibly clear zoom shot of the moon, so well done.

Oh how I envy you for getting out there today Tim. It seems my “sick days” turned out cloudy .
Ryder Lake is a great place to snap and your captures do it justice. Maybe if the snow is not too deep I came make it out there this weekend.
I'd love to see what this looks like all white.

Great shots!!!!!
