Huts and Shelters - A CT Photo Essay
Thought it might be fun to start a new photo essay - huts, shelters, cabins, and the like! Lots of photos of the outside on CT, but not many of the insides.

Most of these aren't my photos, but it's kind of fun digging around CT.

Brunswick Lake Shelter:

Elfin Hut: (does it have an official name?)

Wendy Thompson Hut:

Brian Waddington Hut:

Lizzie Creek Cabin:

The Forks: (Lytton)

Cabin of Light: (Flores Island)

Hootalinqua - confluence of Teslin and Yukon rivers. Tastefully appointed - courtesy of IKEA.
Cute cabin! Reminds me of Silver City on Kluane Lake, full of old [but unusable] cabins:

And for kicks I have to add the village outhouse in Chicken, Alaska: :)

Frosty creek cabin in Manning Park. Make sure your hanta immunization is up to date.

Wonderful post - we need more huts on the mainland and here on Vancouver Island.

I see you already added some of my photos (the forks, brian waddington):)

but here is another one:
The Little Green Shack (on the highway between Haines, Alaska and Haines Junction, Yukon): at Wendy Thompson Hut is a cabin in itself!

or maybe we should start a searate tread with outhouses....???
