This is not the most "scenic" picture I have but something about it just makes me go "ahhhh". Must be the contrast of snow to rocky slope. Such clean, untouched snow.

Mount Cook, New Zealand. Hiked from Mount Cook village across the Copeland Pass to Fox Glacier on the west coast. Approx. 50km by foot, 400km by road.

This photo of Mt Robson rising 8000' out of Berg Lake is taken from the Mumm Basin trail. I've photographed all sides of the mountain, and to me this is her best face

This one was taken from the summit of Mt. Thurston; east of Chilliwack, looking down on the Fraser Valley. The late afternoon reflection of the sun of various bodies of water adds to the effect.



If you don't get at it, when you get to it, you won't get to it to get at it again!
