Ya', you don't often see the Camel "looking the other way from that close",but I have a question for Moses re. this Contest, Is it scenery only, no people in the shot, if so I'll delete it. Pretread, that's a good one.

That's interesting Dru,I didn't know he did anything on that side,Max de Jong alluded to routes there as well. I've often wondered how to get to the base, suppose past the standard route and over and around the widowmaker arete is the way to go. There's the hind leg route so maybe Tom's route should be renamed the Camel's Toe.

1. Lions in the center, I am unsure as to the names of the other peaks.

2. Coliseum Mountain summit on the left, from the backside

3. Cornett Lakes through the mist

Is that the crack of which Tom Fyles famously remarked"Nope, it won't go" after having climbed it and returned to his awaiting companions?
Good picture.

It is indeed, and it's about 5.8. The best way to access it is directly from Hanes Valley via one of many variations on the east face slabs. You can pretty much climb anywhere at the same grade on those.

All these were taken from the South Needle last October, looking towards the Lions, Camel, etc. (I'm not the world's greatest peak identifier). It's entirely possible the middle one was taken by Q with my camera.

And, looking the other direction I think:
