I took this while doing a small hike up Lower Gold Creek Falls tail in Golden Ears.

Not as good as some of you people out there. Though I'm only learning

Here's one with a prime example of Canadian wildlife in the foreground.

I'm not actually submitting this one for voting, just for fun. The next one is my submission.

Although waterfalls usually display Mother Nature's raw power, once in a while, a waterfall can give a sense of serenity and peacefulness.

This was on the Spirit Caves Trail. It offered a welcome respite from the sweltering sun and chaos of the city.

I have so many nice pictures I would love to share with you all, but here's one of the nicer pictures I have taken in the last month

I was going to say Victoria Falls but I looked it up and it's Virginia Falls (Victoria Falls are in Africa). Needless to say I've never been to either or I'd have pictures!
Here are Victoria Falls. Most pictures you see of them is when the Zambezi is in full flood but I was there at the height of the dry season. Still, pretty spectacular all the same!

the creek on the McCrorys property just south of Silverton in the Kootenays. This little creek is like a bonsai version of Lynn Valley.

I was going to post another one but was overcome by an overwhelming urge to go to the washroom before I could finish ...

Awesome picture of Victoria Falls, Pathfinder! Hopefully I'll take a picture of them myself one day.

Cheers,

Chris

What we see here is a prime example of scenus photographus naturus in his natural environment. Note the lack of concern for sharp, slippery rocks. The scenus photographus naturus has a peculiar trait where when faced with personal injury, he will favour the safety of his camera over his own personal safety. Shhh! Lets give him a little push and see what happens.... Krikey!
