Shutter speeds were between 13 and 20. ISO was at 100. Aperatures were between 11 and 20ish. All manual.

Fantastic photos!

good job t2c! what was the exif on your fave? it's particularly sharp.

Jim - does ClubTread strip out EXIF info when reformatting the photos for the site? Is there any way to preserve EXIF in the photos when the resizing is being done?

BillyGoat 07-02-2006 11:37 AM

Good job T2C. I see you're really starting to use that camera to it's full potential. Alot of fun experimenting with different subjects eh?

(BTW CJack, the black BG was my doing, I just happened to post as Exy when I did that post).

This one was cropped to get rid of the moon.

Auto setting. Shutter speed=13 aperature=11 ISO=100 Focal length=47mm and the exposure balance was underexposed by a few stops.

Were these the photos done in Banff? I haven't seen a good Canada day show in years! Those are great photos.

Yes they were and thanks for the compliment.

Nice shots [8D]

CWall - yeah, the exif data is currently dumped when the image is resized. I don't know if it could be preserved in the image, but it could be written to the db beforehand. I suppose some people may not want to share that info though. Maybe an option on the upload screen?

I'll add a few shots here from last night's fireworks show in Harrison Hot Springs:

Good crowd for the event!
https://www.clubtread.com/forumPix/171000/171250.jpg

The fireworks started at 10:15 which gave the added bonus of enough twilight around to capture the sky and mountains in the background. All shots here were taken with the Sigma 10-20mm at around 10mm focal length (turns out I was a bit too close, but I wanted the crowd in the photos as well).

Straight out of the camera; no post-processing.
All shots ISO 100 and taken between 15 and 30 seconds at F7.1 or F9
