Default anyone have any lightning pics?...one here



hand held 2 second exposure. ISO was at 400.

I have a few more but just of the sky lighting up and not the actual bolt.

I was too busy hiding in the last lightning storm I was in to take pictures [B)] I could have got some nice closeups

sheesh T2C... you just got your camera and already you have a great lightning shot, and that was taken with often maligned ef-s 18-55 too?

I was going to mention that.. I'm already well into lens drooling and plan to buy an expensive L series lens towards the end of the summer so if your interested, I may be selling my ef-s 17-85mm shortly.

Taken from my front porch when I lived in Aldergrove. The storm passed right over our house. I tried several times to get it film and just decided to leave the shutter open while it was on the tripod.
Canon A1 50mm. 1.2F Kodak 100.

Great capture of the lightning shots, Time2climb and The Hiker. Neat trick about leaving the shutter open.... Neat.

AhA! Got one! Was out late last night hunting down the right shot.

20 second exposure, at ISO 160 , with F/2.8 On my Sony DSC-R1 [^]
