Default Secret Evil Compound, Quarry Rd, Pitt Lake Hike

Who's up for finding out what is REALLY going on up there. With all that secrecy and security, it can't be good. Must be evil. Maybe Dr. Evil? Here is what I may or may not have seen up there:

1. Many extremely harsh No Tresspassing signs at the gate and past it, all along the road, towards the compound by the lake.

2. Road has a control point (like a border crossing) at the mysterious compound, complete with bullet-proof glass booth, gate, and flood lights. Why would they need all that with so little traffic on the road?

3. Huge compound with many out-buildings, all with flood lights at night.

4. Roving, and possibly armed, patrols on the roads, even at night, that charge all hikers with tresspassing and escort them to the police.

We go at night, infra-red, camouflage, black-ops. Cameras, zoom lenses, video, hand signals, the works.

Who is with me?

I'm on board, just supply me with the necessary equipment (semi-automatic rifle, camoflage clothing, plently of ammo, etc.) and I'm sure I can find a way in.[)] If I'm not mistaken, the airspace above the area is a no-fly zone to 1500 feet. We have to find out what's going on there.[^]

Who actually said they were inside the compound and were they telling the truth?

I've never been in the 'compound' but i've been on the road, and personaly escorted out, once busted by a "paid patroll lady" .. who i frankly gave quite a bit of lip... I think i've told this story a few times so i'll frefrain... .. but aparently it's a "bird sanctuary" ... That as we know is a Crock of *poopay*.

Coquitlam RCMP have identified the body of a woman found Wednesday morning on a rural Coquitlam road.

The body of Young Soon Koh, 44, was found about three kilometres up Quarry Road near the foot of Burke Mountain. She was discovered by a city worker in bushes alongside the road.

She had been reported missing to North Vancouver RCMP on May 24.

RCMP said next of kin have been notified.

"At this time, the police are working closely with the victim's family to try and establish her whereabouts over the past few days," Const. Jane Baptista said in a news release Friday.

Because Koh was of Korean descent, RCMP contacted the Korean Consulate. Baptista could not say if Koh was a new Canadian.

Police are treating the investigation as a homicide.

"We have conducted an autopsy, but at this time we're not releasing the cause of death," Baptista said. Investigators from Coquitlam, North Vancouver and the Integrated Homicide Investigative Team are working on the case.

Koh is the second murder victim in Coquitlam this year.

"It's the second one our detachment is investigating," Baptista said. "But where everything happened and when, I can't say."

Seventeen-year-old Christian Kwee, Coquitlam's first homicide in 2003, was gunned down in a North Road Internet Cafe in January. Police have not laid charges in his death.

On Dec. 7, the body of 19-year-old Breann Voth was found on the bank of the Coquitlam River by young hikers. Police believe she was abducted and killed as she walked to catch a bus on her way to work around 6 a.m. in Port Coquitlam.

An intensive RCMP investigation followed, with more than 100 leads given to police by the public.

Police found a DNA sample near Voth's body, but over five months later, no arrests have been made.

RCMP Cpl. Tom James couldn't say if the two slayings are linked.

"It's too early tell anything like that," James said. "It's just too early in the investigation."

Koh's body was found a few kilometres from the now infamous Pickton pig farm. Last year, Port Coquitlam made international headlines with the arrest of Robert William Pickton in connection with the disappearance of women from Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. Pickton, who faces 16 first-degree murder charges, will be back in court on June 30 when the preliminary hearing resumes after a two-month hiatus.

Are you guys for real or just playing again. Is there really a compound like that near burke, and is there anything that's supports the bulletproof hut, and gates and guards. Sounds a bit slumachish to me. If not someone let me in on the scoop. [)]
