I have a nagging suspicion I posted about this, like, a decade ago, and then forgot about it, but now, the idea has come back with a vengeance.

I have, in my time wandering about the bush, come across some creative crappers. Yes, I'm jonesing for some johns. Not the boring BC Parks Special, but truly original works of art. The hollow tree. The alpine throne. It can be construction or location that makes them interesting.

With Poo with a View being published, though, I am back on the quest for the best boghouses in BC, the most spectacular shitters and the perfect privy to do your business in the outdoors. Have they all fallen to disrepair? Or are there still some true crafty craftspeople crafting crappers?

This is hoping to be a photo book, but for now, it might just be an item of curiosity. Where are the best places you've gone—with appropriate infrastructure—in the outdoors? In BC, or perhaps in Western Canada.
