This will be voted on at the AGM next week.

Any thoughts?

If I thought the Directors were doing a good job I might feel inclined to say yes to a raise, but I don't feel they are, so no.

This year was the first time in 35 or more years that I didn't vote in a MEC election. Why bother? It's rigged.

I am still blown away that we are expected to vote on a new BOD before 2014 financial results are available.

How can anyone be expected to make an informed decision if the financial statements are not released until the AGM? For all I know, MEC could have had a huge operating loss last year.

I sent an email to the finance department at MEC to ask about this problem. I was told that there wasn't enough time between the year end and the BOD voting to publish audited financial statements. Even just publishing results from the first three quarters would be better than nothing!

Before anyone gets a raise, I want to know that the co-op has adequate cash flow.

I would be interested in which organizations were used as comparators and which, if any, external consulting resources were utilized. Doing such reviews internally has considerable potential to end up with a (unintentional) self-serving result.
