Default Hotmail is horrible! Who else agrees?

Today, I purchased two items online and I provided my Hotmail email address as my contact so they could send me updates on my purchases. I haven't received a single email even though the transactions did confirm emails has been sent to my Hotmail email account. It's been over 7 hours and I haven't received a single email for both of my transactions!

I've been using Hotmail since 1996 and now I know why everyone else is using Gmail.

Anyone else have this problem with Hotmail?

There can be delays from the sender- did they really send it right away?, and on Hotmail's side.
Also check your Junk folder.

Have you refreshed your browser ?

On the serious side, it may not be hotmail's fault, senders delay? incorrect email? Or maybe they are sitting in the junk pile as RBG said.

Hope all works out.

Why are you blaming hotmail right off the bat? The email originates from the sender. How do you know the sender actually sent these emails? You saw a confirmation page? Great! Did it also promise you're getting a pink unicorn along with it? And how do you know this sender is in good standing with spam filters? I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with hotmail.

Gmail > Hotmail

Trust me, I live online and would die without gmail.
