Default Zupjok-Llama-Alpaca 3 peaks ridge walk Aug.23.20

My third visit to Alpaca, and introduced this mountain to three friends for the first time. At 20 km return with 1424+ meters cumulative elevation gain, it is no simple hike, but a strenuous one with loss and regain of elevation two times. Car to car 9-1/2 hours include lunch, and a few good snacks breaks. and ill stop at Zupjok before going ahead. Temperature was ideal for hiking, a little cool at Alpaca summit got us to pull on windbreakers and extra shirt to keep warm.

All trails map shows basic route starting from Zupjok rest strop. The photos provide a good vision of the area and what to expect on a good day. Lots of good rock to walk on.

That's an awesome hike! We did that one last year and used bikes for the road part, totally worth it for the end of the trip coming down.
