Default Mt.Thom & Vedder Rotary Trail Mar.01/20

Mt. Thom and Vedder Rotary trail are two places near my home, where a good workout or a relaxing walk can be had.

This day started out with Mt. Thom, hiked to the usual summit, and then checked out a few new trails to the east, one of which just put in last year, on map it shown as # 9 - dashed dgreen line.

Default Vedder Rotary Trail/Lickman Road Mar.21/20

Almost 3 weeks later after the day posted here, went for a short hour walk further west along the dike:

Here are some of the sights:

Thanks Zeljkok, two nice locations outdoors.. not as impressive as some of the big hikes in the past, but good for the soul.

Clayton, the Rotary trail is still open. yet more disturbance in the way of opening salmon habitat channels in the works; lots of ripped up ground... trees removed... now a bed of exposed dirt.
