Very well done, semi-epic to do that in a day from Cayuse flats. Porcupine is long enough from the highway by Daynor Creek. Actually, Eastpoint from Cayuse is a reasonably hard hike. Thanks for showing the terrain in between, it looks like a great place to ramble.

That's quite the trek! A well laid out Trip Report, it was easy to read and follow the pictures along the way!

Thanks very much, well have to try it from Daynor Creek or the ridge beside it that climbs from the highway. I wonder if there will be as many bugs, lol.

Great and enjoyable trip report, and marvelous photos. Looks like a considerable hike, with lots of visua rewards along the way.

Wow! I have read about this on another hiking blog called "My Feet Hurt". I'd love to tackle this trail one day, and you've given me inspiration. Thanks so much, and it's great you were able to dodge that bear! Whew!
