Default Elk-Thurston & Hozomeen lake

This past weekend we hiked Elk-Thurston on Saturday and car camped on the shore of Ross Lake for the night, and then hiked Hozomeen lake on Sunday. two group members brought their kids along, we had great fun! Here are some pics telling the stories!

Elk-Thurston is a favourite. Have not been to Hozameen Lake.


How were the mosquitoes? They were very bad several years ago during a summer camp out.

typically at this time of year, the mosquitoes at Ross Lake are awful (look at those reeds!!) but they are pretty much non-existent at Hozomeen Lake (look at those mountain peaks!!)
