Default 2017 July long weekend: Lake lovely water

5 of us went to Lake lovely water on July long weekend. the lake still had some ice when we got there early afternoon but soon they were all gone down to the valley with waterfalls.

We were so lucky to find the last campsite which might be in the best location, we were able to squish 2 hubba hubba and one hubba onto one wood pad.

Here are some our pics to share:

susied, RickB, Baker2008 and 3 others like this.

Hey Gloria,
How did your party get across to the trailhead if you don't mind me asking? Guessing that's the Russian Army Camp yes? Must have been very busy there that weekend?

It was very busy that weekend, we found a campsite with pad near the cabin and we took the jet boat to get cross to the trailhead, Jay has provided great service over 10 years. here is the info:

Gloria, what fee does Jay charge for the return trip? A few of us are planning a trip in there this season. Also, how long did it take you to hike up to the lake from the drop off? It's been many years since I was there and can't quite recall.

$50 per person for a round trip, it took us 5-6 hours to get to the Cabin area with breaks.
