Or at least I think that is what it's called.... 2 people and 2 dogs stuffed in a canoe left from the usual spot at Pitt Lake towards Widgeon. Went up as far as we could in the boat, then did some bush bashing. We were a bit under 2 hours to the lake, and somewhat less coming down. There is a big swath that has been cleared out by the creek, which was already pretty dry most of the way up - was much faster coming down that than up the bush. We also found some random collapsed shack on the way back out, along with a significantly overgrown trail that still sped thing up a bit. Had that painful realization when we got back to the boat we were 'parked' 10 feet from at least a rough trail, but we turned left instead of right so had to bash bush. Oh well. The lake was great - nice and warm already for a swim; if you go to the end of the little spit halfway along the north egde of the lake there is a nice rocky outcrop to swim from, most of the rest of the shore is mud or bush. There are remnants of what looked to be someone building a little cabin, but well abandoned...
