Default C.T. "Far East" Dinner October 23rd

15 of us met for a fine dining experience at the fabulous Chilies Thai Cuisine Restaurant in the heart of Chilliwack:

It was good to meet some who are new to Club Tread and be able to put faces to names! Food could be ordered in spiciness rated from one to five chilies. I don't think anybody tried 5 chillies, but a few of us went for 4 [8D].

Thanks to all who came out and made it a great evening!

Thanks Tim. I noticed a lack of the paparazzi there last night. It must have been due to the good food and people playing catch up. Sorry I didn't get a chance to chat with some of the new faces, but hoping to see you all this coming winter when we go playing in the snow.

Thanks for setting up the dinner BG. Although our faces never made it onto the screen, we were there and enjoyed both the good food and good company.
The Hiker, you seemed very familiar to me, and Ronbo has since confirmed your identity...this should keep you guessing.

Thanks again! I had a wonderful time, the food was great and the company even better!

Soooo this is who I remember TerryS, Chwk Jack, Trillium, Billygoat, Exscape(on my right?), Burnaby Bob, Dru.........and now that I have read this thread DW2, cannot put a face to Hiker nor Shadee......oh it is so confusing.....oh well will have to get out on some hikes now.

Had a nice day on Vedder Mtn. Ridge Trail today.......the sun came out for a while, got some nice views of Columbia Valley while the Chwk side was socked in.......ran into a tiny bit of snow, nothing to write home about, really very pretty and peaceful....over all a great day out! Ran into the Outdoors Group from Langley the Back Roads.

Wait a minute........how kewl is that......you double click on the photo and it enlarges (I know, I know, I worry about myself some times also!)

Awesome, thanks for putting the names to faces Billy Goat! I could delete half this post now, however because I put such an effort into typing it I won't......

Hope to see you all again.........

Did you take your doggybag up Vedder to find out if whiskeyjacks and ravens like Thai food?

Looks like a great time was had by all. As much as I was looking forward to meeting some more of you, an unexpected visit from an out of town birhtday girl required immediate action (dancing at Good Times pub) For those who live locally, look in the paper for her birthday announcement and our group picture.

Thank you, Billy Goat, for arranging this dinner, I hope to make it out to the next one!

I THINK that Ric was'nt having a brain storm,he hit one of those # 5 chilies in that great Thai food, and was trying to put out the flames with alcohol[:0][]
Sitting here thinking about that food,is making me hungry all over again[][^]
