Default July Mountain Snowshoe (Oct. 22, 2016)

Was itching to get out somewhere last weekend. Couldn't wait for the snowline to come down to me so I went looking for it. Finally found a nice 10 hour weather window in the Brookmere area of the Coq and went with that choice. Seemed to be the best direction to travel so made the call to a few friends and off we went to July Mountain. We weren't disappointed. More pics to come shortly.

It was a great day out for sure! With all the wet weather here in Vancouver, it's nice to see the reward up on the mountain! Woohoo!!

I could hardly contain myself at the prospect of getting into all that fresh snow. What a fantastic day to say the least. Everybody had a blast. Not sure about the camera though but Helen L was the taker of these pictures this time so maybe she could answer your question.

Thanks for all the complements

I have the Olympus TG-4, using either the snow or landscape setting. Then I did some post-editing to bring out the highlight and shadow details.

Did one of your group lose a fitbit?

Wow! Is it a black strap fitbit flex? If it is, yes! I lost it somewhere along the trail. I've sent you a PM. Thank you!!
