Lots of bugs by the trailhead and all the way up thru the trees, kept close to the creek, saw a couple of markers here and there.
Ronayne to the south.
Lots of mist starts appearing, couldn't see much of the peak so i head to the bump at the end of the ridge to wait for things to clear up.
Sun God left, going in and out of the mist, i head up to the bump on the right for a rest, it's cool so the bugs have died off.
The valley to the north and a super green little lake.
The peak clears briefly.
On top, things start to mist up so i head back down, bumped into a couple of guys camping at the small lake, it was quite chilly so we didn't chat long.
I stayed on top of the ridge on the way to Seven O'Clock, keeping close to the lake side to avoid the trees.
Passing above the small lake.
The way ahead, had to push thru a few trees.
Dropping down to the sandy col below Seven O'clock.
A little exposure to stay on top of the rock.
Looks like i'm on top, I take a break.
The mist clears and i see i'm not at the peak yet.
Looking back to Sun God.
I drop down the other side to see if it's possible to continue, it looked OK, another lake below Seven O'clock.
Back to the sandy col and i take a shortcut back to the 'trail' come out on the road by a second creek 50m or so from where i parked. Bugs still around so i hop straight i the jeep and get moving.
