Tricouni, if you're in the area maybe give the Pincushion Mtn trail a try. This is an excellent, scenic although somewhat short hike to the mountain above Peachland. It is a superbly maintained trail that is steep enough to give you a workout and affords excellent views over the lake. I did a TR on it last year
