Default Multi-GG/BCMC day (06/03/2016)

We were "cheated" by the weather forecast this past weekend so that didn't had any hiking planned, oh, well. luckily we always have GG/BCMC nearby for the best hiking training IMO. So 21 of us did 36 times of BCMC/GG yesterday. 3 ppl in our group did 6 times GGs in a day

Trail condition:
only a little bit snow left on GG/BCMC, no microspikes needed.

I moved it to Trip Reports because it looked like a trip report to me with my moderator hat on

If I read this right, 3 people did 6 laps each of the GG, (total 18) and the other 18 did one trip each? 3+18 = 21, 18+18 = 36
6 laps of the Grind in a day is impressive to me. I don't know anything about times or records, but that's over 5,000 m of elevation gain (5,118 going by some elevation change stat I found online, (i.e. 853m/lap*6laps))!

I know some people have done 10,000 m of elevation gain in a day but that usually involves flying or skiing down between laps.

Thanks Dru for correcting me. I didn't say it clearly, those ppl in our group did 6 times in a day were in the past not yesterday. 4 of us did 3 times yesterday.

I know Alex Hudson(Alex Best on CT) did 14 times (up)+2 times (down) in a day in the past.

Very Nice Gloria, always very good to see your reports. doing GG 3 x in a day is darn good in my books.
