Default Mount Chief Pascal,January 10,2016

I wanted to do Chief Pascal on skis for a very long time and this weekend we had our chance.
After leaving the parking lot we started following the existing skinning trail which is a bit confusing since you have trails going all over.

We followed the logging road for a bit more then 2 km after what we end up in the place where you will end up skiing down from the face.
But we decided just to follow the down tracks and at some point near a creek we went right and kept on climbing up until we found some skinning trail going up towards the ridge.

The last summit ridge we had to bootpack, wasn't too bad.
After few minutes on the summit,we got back to our skis and dropped into the face.

Skiing was fantastic, you just had to ski into untouched snow since the old tracks were pretty frozen.

After a fun skiing into the forest we got back on the road and tried to push to make it the car as early as possible but we still got into Whistler traffic.

Great skiing, really fast trip and I think is better to combine it with another trip,so you don't drive up just for Chief Pascal.
