Default Ring Mountain August 16 2015

A great hike and not that far too drive.
The trail begins just few meters before Callaghan lake, where there is a parking spot.

From there took us a bit more then 2 hours to get to Ring Lake, pretty good trail.

AT the lake we stayed on the right side of the lake, and then we just went straight up on the loose terrain, but you can find some better, hard terrain here and there.

Instead of going to Callaghan Peak,we decided to stay at Ring Lake and enjoy the cold water.

Nice trip, I would be interested in that one. Looks like a fun area to ramble about.

Did this one a few weeks back....Really nice spot and i bet there were way less bugs than when I did it. Serious bog-land that you hike through.

It was pretty loose,in the gully you have some rocks that you can hold on,so gives you some extra support but on the way down is just horrible,we knocked so many rocks, but before the gully you can find some spots with only dirt no rocks and it's pretty hard surface there.
