I do love the big photos in the new forum software.

Great trip on its own. The paraglider story and fundraising make it even better.

What remarkable great ending to an awesome trip, to come away with an additional companion. Superb it worked out well for Sylvester. And has one writer put it; your report made it without being deleted.

Superb top star.

Love your photo collection and your narration is wonderfully organized and fun to read.

This is a great TR. Awesome photos and thanks for being such Good Samaritans with that downed pilot. Your presence would have made his exit so much safer and less traumatic. Thanks on behalf of all paraglider pilots out there. I hope to see your smiling face if I ever come down under reserve in the Pemby area.

What a great trip report! Great pictures and crazy story!! Thank you very much for sharing. We are thinking of heading up there to summit Chipmunk Peak this upcoming weekend. I know it’s been years since you came up there, do you think a two wheel drive vehicle can make it up to the same parking lot you stopped at? Also, is the parking lot a good spot for car camping? From the picture you posted, I see there is a creek. Thank you.

It's been so long Sue I honestly wouldn't want to say if it could or couldn't. Alot can happen in 5 winters or new or old logging. I don't recall the road being that much of a concern when we went though. it was fairly mellow.
