So, this is way after the fact as your last post was at least a few years ago, but we tried to summit this weekend and ran into a section that was way too steep near the start of the ridge. Did you use special equipment to summit or do I just maybe not have guts of steel like I think you do? We had found your blue tape and were following it but then we started following orange tape and I'm not sure if that was also yours or someone else's. The orange tape led us to a very steep section.

We finally made an attempt in April this year. There was one section that was steep for snowshoeing, but shouldn't be that bad without snow. Lots of sub summits to go up and over, but easier than Jorgenson which we climbed a few weeks earlier. I'd say go back and try it again, Ogilvie was easier than I thought it would be.
