Default Rohr Lake and a little bit beyond

Avy risk was considerable/considerable/low this past Sunday, we went to Rohr Lake and a little bit beyond, snow conditions were totally different from one month ago when we did Mt. Rohr as it snowed quite a bit last week. We used snowshoes all the way up and down. There was very little avy risk to the lake and just beyond, but not for any further. We turned around at the appropriate place and got back to the car just around 3pm, we all enjoyed the trip.

The boulder slope above the meadow looks a lot more fun with snowshoes than when I usually do that trip, when it's slippery and muddy

great shots... would have loved to do a trip like that into Rohr

Looks like lots of snow is still up there! Wow. So much better traveling over the snow than the bolder hopping during the summer. Looks like you guys had fun

Sweet. Looks like lots of good snow to snowshoe on; love those pristine pictures.

Nice soft looking snow.
