I won't be waiting for 2018. Its definitely on my list for next summer, even if I have to walk/bike all the way from Harrison FSR. And I've talked to a few people about it, I know I'm not the only one who's incomplete Matt Gunn list is getting short.

I have to say, this looks spectacular! To the original duo who traversed this years ago, hats off to you for accomplishing what I wish to conquer one day. For those who are actively working on building a proper trail to Old Settler, many thanks! And many thanks to anyone out there who works on maintaining and building trails for the rest of us to enjoy, without you many of us would not likely want to explore these areas!

I have to pick up this Matt Gunn's book regarding scrambles and hiking. There seems to be so many trails I've never heard of like this Old Settler. My GPS doesn't have this trail either.
