Default Strachan Via Christmas Gully June 5 2014

Quick little after work hike last Thursday with Caren to get me out of my winter hibernation state. This route is always pleasant and there is just enough snow coverage in the gully to make travel quick and easy. A couple pics to show you where snow line starts and what to expect as I'm sure it's melting fairly quick.

Finally got a fancy phone that takes a GPS track for me.

1.Lower Gully
2.Mid Gully
3.Upper Gully

Ice cold Mikes Hard Limonade and Busch beer in the parking lot to wind down the day.

That hike has been on my mind as well. If the snow is consolidated enough, would make for a plesant jaunt up.

Just saw this review. I did the exact same hike last Thursday. Little bit less snow in the gully but still enough coverage for an easy trek to both summits. Fogged in at the summits so no view.
