I always wanted to do that mountain, never did though. I think I should just cross this one off my list without ever doing it [B)]

Views on a summer day do look good though!
Still do it Aces! The perspective of the valley really is something else. Quite the view of the Cheam range as well. Hopefully it won`t be as smoggy for you as it was for us in Sept though. This time of year I imagine it would be a better view.

Indeed a great view .

That's a REAL drag. All that work for no reward. I don't recommend trying to cross this one off your list until you are really old and you have pretty much nothing else at all to do ever.
Not a great hike, but there are worse road walks out there. Slollicum isn't for everyone, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

My daughter wanted to come out for this hike, but was too sick. She seems to think if Marcus can make it, then it would be something in her range. I've been up there, so have my doubts, now it's a challenge

BTW Shadowchaser, I haven't seen you around much lately, maybe just lurking? [8D]. You've posted some good reports in the past, I'd like to see more! BTW: Good job closing the lid on that pipline

If you do it in late April you have a nice perspective on the Tulip fields down on Sea Bird Island. The ratio of road to trail is a bit much though...

Oh, glad this came up again! I just read in the Mt Waddington's November Newsletter that this is the 'Hike of the Month.' Was considering it. Perhaps I better think of something else!
