your paint will definetly take a beating for sure. Otherwise I think you should be able to make it? Not alot of places that are wide open for turning around so be prepared to back up a long ways if for some reason you decide the road gets to bad. There are a few sections where the water has turned half the road into a ditch sorta so you will be leaned over/ off camber. Its hard for me to say if your vehicle is or isn't capable because my idea of a "good road" is alot different than the majority of the people that are on here.

Lynn I think it could but the paint job will take a thrashing and the road has some deep washouts in places so you will definitely be testing its ability to go off camber.
That is a spot I have often wanted to get to for a over night but haven't yet.

Your report brings back the urge. Good trip and pics to show how inviting it is up there in the evening.

The road had a spot where it sluffed down from the bank not far from the fork you take right going up the hill. It seems the dirt that slid down is not so high any more or is it and how easy is it to get by?

I think I might know the spot you are referring to. If it is that spot, it is not a problem.
