Default First Pump Sunrise

Woke up early Saturday for a quick hike up 1st pk Mt Seymour. It is so busy now on weekends I don't usually bother - but Seymour mountain can be very beautiful and with some effort one can still find solitude. It was quite cold and windy on top. My fingers got quite wooden messing with the camera. No snowshoes required. It's virtually a sidewalk all the way up!

I've never seen it in sunrise. Great pictures; it gave it a really nice pink. Does anyone know when they start letting cars up? I think they block the road at a bit before 10pm and I forget when they open it back up again.

Steventy,

I was at the bottom of the hill at 5:30. The guy came out and we had a brief chat - he pulled the barrier away and off I went. Seems they just want to check that you are "OK" before letting you go.

That was a sweet full-moonset during sunrise, wasn't it?! I saw it on the highway to Whistler on Saturday morning.
